Game Play modes:

Name: Deathmatch
AKA: Free For All, DM, FFA
Abbreviation: DM

Team play: No

Rules: its every man for himself

Scoring: earn 1 point for every kill, and lose 1 point for suicides, craters, etc.

Key strategies:

  • consecutive kills can earn you mass points
  • consecutive deaths can lead to negative points
  • if someone is about to win, frag their ass so they lose a point


Name: Tournament
AKA: One vs One
Abbreviation: 1V1

Team Play: No

Rules: one on one combat: looser goes to the end of the line and the winner stays to fight the next player.

Scoring: earn 1 point for every kill, and lose 1 point for suicides, craters, etc.

Key strategies:

  • consectutive kills can earn you mass points
  • consecutive deaths can lead to negative points
  • if the other person is about to win, frag their ass so they lose a point
  • be stealthy, very stealthy


Name: Elimination
AKA: Last Man Standing
Abbreviation: ELM

Team Play: No

Scoring: you earn 1 point for every kill, the last person alive gets a 3 point bonus

Key strategies:

  • DON'T DIE
  • while it is a good idea to avoid large fire fights, that won't help your score any

Name: Team Deathmatch
AKA: Team DM
Abbreviation: TDM

Team Play: Yes

Scoring: your team earns 1 point for every kill, and loses 1 point for killing team mates, suicides, craters, etc.

Key strategies:

  • consectutive kills can earn your team mass points
  • consecutive deaths really hurt your team's score
  • protect your team mates, especially those who are "easy targets"
  • bring the other team's score down by repeatedly fraggin the "easy targets" on the other team


Name: Capture The Flag
Abbreviation: CTF

Team Play: Yes

Scoring: your team earns 7 points for every capture and 1 point for every 10 kills your team makes.

Key strategies:

  • capture the other team's flag! duh! 
  • base defenders can now earn points for their team by fraggin the hell outa the enemy


Name: Assimilation
Abbreviation: ASM

Team Play: Yes

Scoring: The team that assimilates all other teams earns 3 points for their effort. You're "real" team earns a point for every 2 kills you make; the exception to this is you don't earn any points off of killing people that are one your "real" team.

Key strategies:

  • this mode is all about getting frags, but that 3 point bonus for winning sure is nice... 
  • one way to really rake in the points is to let your best player be assimilated by another team, and then if your team can manage to assimilate everyone except that player.. he can start the cycle all over again allowing your team to score huge points.. but its a risky move.


Name: Pickup Teams
AKA: Team Elimination, Last Team Standing
Abbreviation: PKT

Team Play: Yes

Scoring: your team earns 1 point for every kill, the last team alive gets a 3 point bonus

Key strategies:

  • DON'T DIE!
  • traveling in groups can improve your chances of survival, or set you up for a big fall...
