This section is really short because its actually very simple to get Assim2 up and running. There are two methods one uses the "Run.." command and the other the "Mods" menu in Quake3. The first method is to start Q3A manually from the "Run.." command (which is the recommened method). If your Q3A path doesn't contain spaces something like this should work: c:\games\quake3\quake3.exe +set fs_game "assim" If your Q3A path does contain spaces, try something like this: "c:\program files\quake iii arena\quake3.exe" +set fs_game "assim" That's it for the first method. The other method is very simple, but not as effective. Simple start Q3A by double clicking your Q3A icon and there should be a menu item "Mods". Click on "Mods", then click "Assimilation 2", and then click the "Load" button. The disadvantage to this method is that it will not load your Assim2 settings (such as your bind for the grappling hook).
