Well Hawkeye has handed the Bnayni team over to me, after 2 years he feels the mod needs new leadership. I wont go into details but everyone is happy with the change and Bnayni will continue. With a new leader comes new inspiration and the Bnayni team has lept forward since the changeover, major shake up's in the ranks have happened, and generally everything is more organised. Unfortunately we have lost "Asriel" (a mapper) from the team, good luck with whatever you do Asriel...

This means we have a mapper position open to anyone who wants it, check out the "open positions" page for more info.

As I said progress is being made, and now much faster than before, and I can finally reveal some information about Bnayni software's 1st release!

1) The as yet "untitled" project will have 5 huge maps and a large start map, starting off in an evil decaying gothic style and end in a futuristic space station style map, 2 new texture sets are being developed for the mod as well as new code for multiple new enemy attacks, completely new monsters. Colored lighting WILL be used, but no other custom engine effects will be, this is for compatability reasons.

And finally, the atmosphere is gonna be tense as hell! More info forthcoming...

its been quiet I know but finally we have something to show you, a shot of the Bnayni start map by DaZ. Hop over to the screenshots page to have a look...

Along with the new year comes yet another new site design!

I've done a complete overhall on the layout, but for now the content is still all the same. Anyway, back to modelling for me :-) Wondering what "Bnayni" stands for, what it is? Probably not, but anyway: Bnayni (Software) is a monster. Yup, and it has just devoured another soul, being Jester The Modeller.

All together now: "Hi Jester!" Our forum sure picked the wrong time to go down, with the wrong time being the first couple of days after the release of the new site, demo's and screenshots, but the damned thing's back up now, waiting for your feedback, which is hopefully positive :) Its been screaming out for this for ages, so I have re-vamped the Bnayni Softwate site. Its not just a new design though. The Bnayni team bring you all fresh new content as well in the form of screenshots, new textures, and a FAQ.
