THE BOX   [box.zip]

A chamber for gibbing each other with the rocket laucher. The room is a hollow cube with pulsing lights to raise atmosphere. The terrain inside the cube is changing each minute. The terrains are not only for making the map less dull :-], but they make the map a quick training course and make the player learn to aim better in different situations. Each terrain simulates common arena areas in basic maps e.g. dm2, dm6, ultrav. There are 10 terrains, after the 10th minute, the tarrain-loop restarts.

Detailed description of the terrains:

terrain 1: none. A hollow arena room for warmup
terrain 2:

a column in the middle. The enemy is usually at the other side of the column and this terrain helps to learn which side the enemy will pop up. Or find solulions when the enemy is staying put behind the column. (maps like this: ultrav)

terrain 3:

bars in a cross shape. This is the toughest terrain in the map. That's because that's where a player is the lamest at. This is very neccesarry to practice, cos nothing's more annoying while playing dm2, when the enemy runs away behind the bars, and you're only shooting at the fucking bars.

terrain 4:

randomlike surface. It's worth to learn to fight on uneven-floored areas too.

terrain 5:

stairs. Stairs are the most critical parts while fighting, cos stairs quarters the range of the explosion, and so if the enemy is 2-3 stairs higher than the explosion, then it won't hurt him at all.

terrain 6: none. A hollow arena room for refreshment.
terrain 7:

two columns in opposite corners. Similar to terrain 2. This is also about learning the behaviour of other players, when they're not visible.

terrain 8:

parallel 2-level bars. You come up against two difficulties here: 1. The stairs dilemma, 2. You usually aim downward, so the rocket hits the floor. In this case the rocket usually hits the staircases. :-]

terrain 9:

pyramidal surface. In this terrain it's also very hard to aim to the floor, cos it alwaysslopes downward, cos the player is usually not on your quarter. Thus this terrain is also similar to terrain 2, because the players don't see each other all the time.

terrain 10:

4 staircases growing from the centre towards the corners. This is the second hardest terrain. The staircases are placed in a way that they always bother. :-]

There is a batch file linked to the map, which refreshes the entity content of the map, so the armor type the players have is customizable. You can set the quakeworld compatibility here too.

HALFPIPE   [halfpipe.zip]

If you like halfpiping, this is the map for you, because this is your job here to survive. The map is based on the ramp-jumping trick, all weaponry and pickups are placed in the air, so you gotta perform spectacular leapings to get anything useful. The map has some retrospective feelings too, reminds me of an old C=64 game. There are 3 water textured beams to touch, the blue one gives 10 health, the pink one 25 and the red one 50.

UNDERTAKER   [cemetery.zip]

This is a map for those, who don't want to waste time and nerves, to learn complicated dmmaps. The map consists a cemetery a street around it with some teleports. If a map is even more easy that ain't no deathmatch any more, coz then it's an arena one. The tombs are square shaped, because you have to caper from one onto the other to get special items. Bots play average, they often drown. You can count on an update soon.

DEATH¦TOGGLE   [1health.zip]

A big chamber with walls dispersed all around. You spawn in the map with 1 health, so 1 shot kills ya. Good for testing your reflexes. There are several weapons on the map, and an elevator which leads to a ring and other stuffs on the top of the walls.

LET'S DROWN TOGETHER, BABY!   [drown.zip]

This map is similar to The Box, except that it's bigger, and it's filled with water. It's preferred to set sv_maxspeed 1000 or so (and of course increase cl_forwardspeed, cl_backspeed cl_sidespeed and cl_upspeed too), so you can swim across the cube real fast. Of course the area is well equipped with biosuits.
