Well been about 3 months since anything has happened. I have created a new beta for tourney as a pro level in either cpma or osp gametypes. But my goal is to make it playable in VQ3 as well.

The name of this one is "Dirty Little Secret". This is open for comment on gameplay textures, lighting or whatever. The item placement is still questionable. So download if you like, and tell me what you think! Check it out here.

Wow! Been a bit, hasn't it? I have been extremely busy and havn't had time to update my site. :( Anyway just to let you know of a few things going on.

Threewave is at it again. They have a new version coming out 1.5, you don't want to miss it. It is flat out sweeet!! I have seen the new maps and they are all spectacular!

My good and talented friend Cardigan is up and running at his new hangout, and it is here at PQ! Go visit the Powder Room and get some info and tutorials that won't disapoint. Oh BTW, he has a map there that is an excellent display of talent and creativity. Did I mention it won the newbie mapping comp in 2001?

I'm currently working with Cardigan and quint on a joint project that we hope will turn a few heads. It is coming along nicely and if you stay tuned to any of our sites, you'll get some dirt on what to expect. :)

UMP (Unofficial Map Packs) has launched and will have it's first CTF map pack soon. The maps in this group are all over the top and done by mappers we have all grown to know and trust. Head on over to UMP and check it out. Soon to be seen on a server near you!

BTW server admins! I am disappointed in you. I have released my CTF map and was hoping to get some ip's from you guys! I know they are out there, cause I see em on GameSpy in in my bowser occaisionally! I have people asking!!!! Let me have em if you got em!

It's done. "The Vast and Furious" is available on my maps page. Took a bit of extra time, fine tuning a little things. Overall I am happy with this map. Turned out close to what I wanted. Overhead can be steep someplaces, especially with bots, but it is still playable. I had a test group who played 8vs8 and said it was quite playable! It is intended for Q3 CTF, TA, and Threewave. I don't know if it works with alliance, I don't have that mod. More than interested if anyone can let me know if/how it plays with it.

I'm going to post some ips later of places you can find to play this map on servers. I'm going to try and get it on a variety of CTF, TA and Threewave servers. If anyone hosts this map, let me know, I will post an ip here.

I have finally got my "Vast and Furious" into final beta. I took some time off to upgrade my comp and just get away from mapping a bit, so now I'm back.

A lot of the changes come from you the community. If you had suggested a change and don't see it implemented, don't be ofended. I tried litterally every suggestion given and kept only the ones I felt didn't unbalance the gameplay. A lot of the ones given were good ideas, but just made it either to easy to CTF or killed the FPS.

This would be the final except for a few things I noticed after the 4 hour compile, and decided that I will just do one more beta instead of recompiling. You can download and read about it here. Once again, this is open to all suggestions, but this will be the final beta. So unless I hear a major problem or a really good idea, I want to finalize this thing by end of this week!

Well some of you have noticed that I have a new beta of my Vast and Furious. Wasn't a real update, but you guys kept asking "why didn't you tell me you had another beta!?" So here it is! Not a big update, 56k'rs could probably wait, but go ahead if you're ambitious! The beta is up at my maps section.

VaF is approaching final, still a beta left or 2. ;) I have some help on optimizing the bot play and am going to work on some hinting to save some FPS hopefully (oh please some of you say!). So that is doing well.

Lastly, I have thought up a new map for CTF! This one will focus on TA. I had a lot of fun doing TA for Vast and Furious and so I am going to focus on it this time. Don't worry, it will be compatible with Q3CTF and 3W as well. :) From what I am hoping it will have the same fast gameplay and should hold at least the same amount of people as VaF. It will be smaller than most TA maps though. Who knows, it could change halfway through.

Well today is the day! My official launch at PlanetQuake! I just want to say thanks to Pappy-R and the entire PQ staff. They have really helped in promoting my work!

My Crap section has been updated. It contains links to some of my favorite mappers, q3a links, and some wallpapers (soon) from me! More to come people, but all in due time.

Biggest news though- I have a new CTF map, although only beta. It has gone through a few good rounds of testing and I am really liking the gameplay, a vastly long space CTF, but with a lot of cover from the rail whores out there. But beware them launch pads! The name: "The Vast and Furious". Designed with CTF, TA, 3W and CCTF in mind. Download it, play it and tell me what you think. This is your time to shine and let me know what you want in a map.

Also for those of you haven't been here before, I also have 2 other maps that have done very well in peoples opinions, both of the DM variety. Check them out!

Well for some reason, I keep leaving the TDM/DM map I want to do and do something else. :-/ Well, I have started a CTF map and it is coming together better than I expected. It is a floater (a first for me on both accounts of CTF/floater), and is designed for CTF, 3W, TA, CCTF. If I can get all of those in there! There are more screens here!

Happy New Year and best wishes for the year! I released the final of Empty Voice of Despair last night before the parties :D It turned out very close to what I wanted so I am happy with it. A lot of feedback was given on this one and it really helped out. Check the readme for the credits. So enough of my babbling, just go get it and I'll see you on the servers!

OK- This is it. I promise last final beta! :) Just a few reworks on some problem areas and new item placement. Empty Voice of Despair final beta is found here. Screens are there as well. I need to know if the MH is good where it is at (been struggling with that one) and the shotgun location on the upper floor. I am not sure if that works as well as I want. Other than that I am quite pleased with it. I especially need "live" people to test it with each other. Anyone who can, I would love to hear from them. Big thanks to Anwulf for helping me with the sparklies. THX DUDE! Thats it for today. Go check it out!

Happy Holidays! A little late getting that out, but who really reads this page anyways?! ;) I am soon going to finish Empty Voice of Despair. It is just a matter of finishing up the little touches. It has come along nicely. I may release 1 more beta, just to be safe..we'll see.

I am working also on a new map. It is going to be a larger TDM/DM map. I am just now working the layout and I have no idea when I will get out a playable yet. So, I'll keep it updated here and in the Q3W forums.

Beta is uploaded! Go get it!

Just did a lot of work on bubtny2 over the weekend. It is now named "Empty Voice of Despair". Still tenative, but I'm liking it. I should have some screens for you tomorrow. Possibly a beta2 on the 19th or 20th. I was playing around with item placement and decided I didn't like the MH so it is gone! There is a railgun now, but with limited ammo. The layout is pretty much the same but it has some more detail and some clipping has been done. Divided the RA into 2 YA and spread em out.

Giants Among Us got a good review over at ..::LvL so check it out!

I've gotten some great feedback on my latest map, bubtny2. I know it's bland right now!!! This was just a layout stage. j/k! Working on the blandness as you review the beta. Got some new weapon layout ideas from pjw and I am going to try and incorporate some of that in.

OK- Beta1 is ready of bubtny2. You can grab it here. It still has no name, but I got a couple floating around in my head. If anybody has suggestions, feel free to share. Couple of issues that need to be addressed:

-the small atrium is not visually finished (not the whole level for that matter!). Kinda got stuck on my idea for the windows.

-No clipping around, you will get stuck!

-Lighting is negotiable.

I've got screenshots of my new map, bubtny2, here. It is about 10-12 hours of work over the last 4 days. I had to scratch about 3/4 of it about 5 hours in after I realized that my scale was to big at first, Arghhhh! So here is the screenies.

Well, here it is. My vehicle for distributing my Q3A maps I've created. It is nothing fancy, but functional. More likely than not, it will remain that way. You will all be thanking me in the end. Anyway on with the show.

In the first edition I would like to point you to my first map, titled Giants Among Us. It was released 7/20/01. Don't be expecting a whole lot new here. This was my learn in progress map and it shows. But...It has been reviewed and said to contain good gameplay... So you be the judge.

I am currently working on 3 other maps, 2 of which need some help to push them onto the public chopblock. The third is my second (it will be my first one released though ;D) tourney map. I will soon have screens for you to see my progress. I feel this is gonna be a good one. But then I say that of all my maps.
