"New Skinner Added to Team"

 

Can't believe we forgot to mention this, but... a while back we added a new skinner to our roster by the name of Quartz. Quartz is the talented individual that skinned the Tippmann Pro-Lite featured earlier on this page, and is a proven commodity. Everyone please welcome him to the MF team.

Pyro has been really busy setting up the MF Message Board.  This board can be used to express your opinions on QPA development, QWPball games, and general MF topics.  We value the communities views and wish to work together to make all our products live up to the standards the community imposes on us.

"Quake3Arena Team DM Tournament"

While we are all hyped up in the release Quake3test, we might as well have fun.  MF will be hosting a Team DM tournament this coming weekend, the 22nd.  (Better see Star Wars during the week).  The tournament will be single elimination or double elimination pending the number of team entries.  Teams must consist of 3 players.  If your interested please get your team together, and pick a team name, and email hump@mortalfunk.com with your team name, captain, and other two players.  See ya on the killing fields!

" Screenshots Anyone?"

 

You can check out some screenshots of a new map Bogleg is working on if you like. It's an urban style map with a night time setting. It's in its early stages so don't laugh too hard: sshot 1, sshot 2, sshot 3.

" Site Redesign "

 

We may be crazy, but we ditched the old layout, and made way for the new.  Its much less time consuming to load among other notes.  Hopefully with this new  new layout we will be able to have more news and more informative pages on all our projects.  With the redesign comes some issues however.  We are in the process of implementing a bulleting board system which you will be able to access via the contacts page.

Don't forget about MFCon99! Come June first I will be asking for payments.  I will of course be posting all the information on paintball, including waiver forms.  More info on the MFCon page.

Shine, an accomplished PPM creator, has agreed to loan himself out to us for the creation of two QPA PPM's. Shine will work closely with us to produce realistic paintball player models. You can see his work here.
