Match 1A - Round 1

Final Score

Ash: 25
Love2Play: -1

The Winner

Comments: This match went very well. The server provided by ClanServers.net performed perfectly, with no small amount of credit do to PHHucker for setting things up and taking the spectator demo. My original plan coming into the 1v1's was to try and make sure I could keep control of the map, and bring on the 0wn4g3. This map (addict) has superb connectivity, very good item placement, and really kept the action hot for the entire round. I think Love2Play had a little competition jitters, but I also think I effectively dominated the map. The juggernaut keeps on rolling baby, and you know what time it is... it's time for some Pappy.

The Loser

Comments: Well, I didn't heed the warnings of my supporters who said I was coo' in FFA but they had their doubts for me in 1v1. Lay those doubts to rest, you were absolutely right! Talk about NOT ready! And doesn't the score show it. Ash waxed me like a dull MustangGT. So, I have gotten myself some personal trainers so this doesn't happen again >:) Oh, and note to self: NEVER by a new mouse right before a match and not get used to it! I hit so many walls I had brick imprints on my face! So learn a lesson there folks. My demo looks like this: Love2Play died... Love2Play died... Love2Play died... Love2Play died... Love2Play kills self... Love2Play died... Love2Play died... Love2Play kills self... You get the picture :-/ My sincere Congrats to Ash and his l33t skillz! But the rest of you....don't get too comfortable >:)

Poll Comentary and Match Summary

OK, so this was a very close poll, with Love2Play coming out on top. What an upset! I'll tell you what, watching this demo, you can plainly see that Ash owned every square inch of this map. He protected his territory without reservation or regard for humanity and compassion. It was straight up, hands down, old school 0wnage. The biggest highlight Love2Play pulled out of this match is when she tried to swallow one of Ash's rockets while he was a bit too close and they both exploded into vapors. Ash got the self-kill, but balanced out taking Love2Play out for the frag. Obviously out of practice since being on substitute connections for a while, Love2Play managed to pull herself from a minus 3, bringing her up to a final frag count of minus one. Ash, on the other hand, was also without a computer for a stretch there, making both players fresh on the scene after a little hiatus. He delivered a warm welcome back with a mighty score of 25. Kudos to both players; Ash for his dominance, and Love2Play for her composure and sportsmanship. gg.
