Match 5A - Round 5

Final Score

Sluggo: 13
Pappy-R: 5

The Winner

Manager Hellchick: I knew Sluggo could do it! He held Pappy off through almost the entire match, and in the end managed a whopping defeat! Now it's the final showdown, mano a mano, between Sluggo and Ash. Will Sluggo take the win? Oh, I think Ash better start worrying.

Sluggo: After waiting literally WEEKS for this match due to Pappy's connection woes, I thought it was high time someone put the Happy Puppy out of his laggy misery. I was only too happy to oblige, and now we can get on with the championship rounds.

I was actually feeling rusty going in, and wasn't sure what to expect. However, I got a good start, and after jumping out 5-0 after 2 minutes, there was no way I was going to let Pappy back into the match. After going up 9-0, I basically played keepaway and ensured my spot in the finals.

So -- now I get another crack at Ash for the championship...and this time I'll be ready.

The Loser

Manager Will: Pappy played like a gentleman. A gentleman in a killer's body. Stone cold and merciless. But as Pappy's PR manager, I'll be the first to stand at his side and say, "Get it right next time, boy!" I gotta call my agent...

Pappy-R: Well I just got owned...bummer. Very good game Sluggo and I knew I was in trouble when you got the RL and powerups first. Now it's time for Ash and Sluggo to have it out for the title..I hate you both. :-)

Poll Comentary and Match Summary

After days of anticipation, these two powerhouses finally faced off in an all out, kick your ass, bout. Going by the polls, the community thought Pappy-R would walk away with another notch in his belt. Oops. Sluggo mowed through this match like a snow plow. With a final score of 13 to 5, Sluggo managed to hold off Pappy-R through the entire match. Keeping such tight defense as to keep Pappy from scoring for the first 10 minutes! Well, I know i'm glad they have finally found time to go head to head. And they each played a good game. Now we'll see just how well Sluggo does against the undefeated champion, Ash. Good game guys!
