Do you own any gaming related clothing?
Thats my entire wardrobe
Yes, I have 1 or 2
No, I'm not a loser
They sell gaming related clothes?
They sell clothes?
Fargo: In any semi-cool industry, every time you go to a convention you walk away with a buttload of chatchkis.
Mix: I'm never giving up my Sonic 2 T-Shirt.
Gestalt: Just a GameSpy t-shirt... Oh yeah, and a "Soldier of Fortune inc" T-shirt that Neil Manke sent me when he was making levels for them... Oh, and my dad gave me a Microsoft baseball cap but I'd never be seen dead wearing it. ;-)
Do you think "pro" tournaments are a good thing?
Hell yes - now I can make money playing games!
Yes - I love to watch the tournaments
No - it just doesn't interest me
Hell no - it's just a game dammit!
Fargo: I bet more people would be interested if we could actually WATCH the game. And demos don't count. Especially butt-cam demos. ;P
Mix: There are a lot of logistics to be worked out if they are going to be successful.
Gestalt: As long as I can still just play games for fun when I want to, I don't see a problem...
What's the last time you were scared by an FPS?
Me? - afraid of sprites and polygons? bah!
Wolf3D - "ACHTUNG!"
Doom - spectres .. in a dark room .. with flashing lights
Duke3D - "I'm all outta gum"
Quake - fiend attack!
Quake II - cyborg hell
Unreal - tell those skaarj to stop jumping out at me
All the time! - deathmatch scares the hell out of me
Down here - I'm behind the sofa dammit...
Fargo: Doom: Scariest game of all time? Actually, Mist had me hiding under the covers for weeks.
Mix: Doom in the dark with headphones using the chainsaw. I felt like a psycho serial killer.
Gestalt: Unreal cost me a fortune in laundry bills... ;-) It doesn't help that I'm arachnophobic - all those little alien spider things crawling around in the dark scared the sh*t out of me!
What gender player model do you play as?
I don't play Quake II
Fargo: Someone just showed me the Shambler PPM -- I think that's my new favorite. :)
Mix: Does it really matter?
Gestalt: Usually I play with the Rhino PPM.
Is that your real gender?
Hell yes! I'm no transvestite
Hell no! Cross-dressing all the way
No, I'm not a robot / dinosaur / alien
Fargo: Hey, I can Shamble.
Mix: I'm glad to see that 632 people realize they are not a robot/dinosaur/alien. Now if I could convince Uncle Charlie...
Do you go easier on female players and crackwhores than male players?
Hell yes! I'm too much of a gentleman
Hell yes! Sisters stick together
I'm too busy eyeing them up to shoot them
Maybe a little...
Hell no! Sexual equality all the way
Hell no! The only good marine is a dead marine
I only pick on Kenny (the bastards!)
Fargo: It's moving. Shoot!
Mix: Poor Kenny.
Gestalt: Nope, if it moves shoot it. Unless it's on your team of course...
Have you ever completed Quake / Quake II single player?
Hell yes! I only play single player
Yes - all the way to the bitter end
"How do yao kil shUb?"
No - didn't get that far
Hell no! I only play multiplayer
I'm still playing Doom dammit!
Fargo: Yes and yes. Quake I was such a novelty I got a kick out of it, but by the time Quake II came out I was harder to impress so I was kinda bored toward the end.
Mix: What does that say for Q3:Arena?
Gestalt: I finished Quake II, but never got around to finishing Quake. From what I've seen of Shub I don't think I missed anything. ;-)
