Fargo: Wow, I've met some really hot Quake chicks, though. (Hey, is it like cool to call them chicks and stuff?)
pharcyde: I know someone who met over Quake2 and got married =P
Lowtax: I tried, but Female / Athena never gave me her number.

radium: Yeah, that's where I get most of my kills.
Fragmaster: Yes. They're the only targets I can hit. Besides the walls.
Lowtax: I found that out firsthand when I beat ya down a few nights ago, eh Frags? 40-17, if I remember correctly?
Fargo: Sometimes that rocket is in mid-air and I wish I could take it back. Most of the time I see the word-bubble in time, though.
pharcyde: Damn right! This aint AOL!!!
shaithis: Only when it's Lowtax typing. I just scream "say goodnight, chat boy!" and fire salvos of rockets at him. Also, salvos is a cool word.

Fragmaster: If they do, it better be hopscotch. Or Duck, Duck, Goose (kickass game, BTW).
Fargo: Dude, phone-jack entertainment -- that's awesome! A little game of minesweeper, and if you win, you get the Quad.
pharcyde: Commander Keen and Cliff Yablonski serverd in the military together didn't they?
shaithis: Yeh, definitely. I'd call it "a real single player mode".

How much do you think ping affects one's game?

AnswerVotes
Percentage

It's everything! Low ping = high frag count!
1177

It's nothing! I've been owned by some great HPBs before!

It's kinda important, but not essential.

WTF is "ping"? Some Japanese soft drink?
145
4.1%

radium: It's all about the ping.
Fragmaster: Ping doesn't matter, what's more important is the length of your toenails.
Fargo: Ping is essential. The railgun isn't effective with a high ping -- with a low ping, you got fun in a bucket.
pharcyde: Depends on what kind of BOT the person is using.
shaithis: I can't play at a ping above 100. How pathetic is that?!
Lowtax: Ping? WTF is that, some kind of Japanese sports car?

Fargo: I am NOT easy pre-*snipe* *gurgle* *sound of falling body*
pharcyde: wtf.com
shaithis: Excuse me, but nowhere near 322 people listen to me on the friday frag... though of course they all should, that I might dispense my godlike wisdom to yet more disciples.
