Pappy-R: I still crave the classics. That single green ball of love, it's like cuddling a CyberDemon!
a madman: There's something to be said for the ability to dish out 1000 damage in one pop. Doom 2 it is.
Jube: Definitely the Quake 2 BFG. In fact, everything in Q2 owns everything in all of those other games. Q2 also owns your girlfriend. Or in the case of DDR fans, your blowup doll.
IceStorm: Doom 2 was the beast of a BFG. You could fry rice with that thing!
f4nt0m45: Q2's BFG has to be my personal favorite.. You just have to love the green ball of goo and all it's lazer friends!
Skeezix: It's gotta be the quake 2 BFG, just the way it moved slow and you saw guys running away to escape it. You usually got yourself melted by the rays, but it was all good !

When it comes to trick jumping, how would you classify yourself? [ice raven]

Pappy-R: I prefer the fine art of "Gib Jumping" myself. Where the goal is to go p0p!
a madman: I think I strafe-jumped once.
Jube: I used to be a decent jumper, but due to lack of practice I now go *splat* when I get anywhere near a ledge.
IceStorm: All my tricks are copyrighted and I only do them once. Thats because it was a mistake in the first place
f4nt0m45: I'm not bad really, but I'm also not exactly great, so somewhere in the middle.
Skeezix: The only trick jump I do is the one on the pile of gibs that used to be you.

Pappy-R: I use the Nostromo n50 SpeedPad. It's like a sex toy for Quake!
a madman: I'm with Pappy, except for the "sex toy" part. Wore the numbers off the keys in the first six months.
Jube: I guess I'm in the weird category. Q=Forward, W=Backward, TAB=Strafe Left, Space= Strafe Right, Mouse2=Jump.
IceStorm: Call me a rebel if you will, but I'm out of control.
f4nt0m45: Thanks to a bizarre keyboard error, I'm forced to use RDFG which actually works out a bit better oddly enough.
Skeezix: The good old WASD. I remember trying to play quake with arrow keys for look up and down and wondering why I was getting my butt kicked. You use arrow keys F4nt ? :)

Pappy-R: I refuse to answer this questions based on tha fact that I don't need a ton of mail giving me crap for picking the wrong one. I'll take the fifth and a sip of the fifth.
a madman: QWTF is where my true loyalties shall always lie...
Jube: Ohhh tense scene here. Some of these peeps hang out in #planetquake. I really rather dig them all, but I have to go with Rocket Arena for the win.
IceStorm: I gotta go with Freezetag and fragging Jube.
f4nt0m45: I think I have to give my love here to Alliance which tried to bring back the wholesome fun of LMCTF from Q2.
Skeezix: I love Generations. Why are there no servers !!! The Quake 1 LG in Qhake 3 engine !! Lovin' it!

Pappy-R: Since this happens lots, it's no big deal. Load a new level baby and let's go again!
a madman: There's always SOME poor schmoe I can pick on. *ahem* When I'm not leading the server, that is.
Jube: Ugh, I hate this question. Why did I submit it? :D I'll admit that sometimes I quit before the end, but only if my frag count is in the negatives. I don't mind coming in last, but coming in at -5 after 20 minutes of play is rather embarrassing. :o
IceStorm: Hey!! You bastages! Damn them scurvy dogs.
f4nt0m45: I just try to play Skeezix as much as possible so that I don't even have to worry about there being a chance of losing!
Skeezix: Coming in last? What is that? You better ask F4nt that question.

What evils has Quake caused in your life? [submitted by PQ]

Pappy-R: Jube. Definately the only true evil to enter my life since I started with Quake is Jube and her morning ICQ spam-o-rama!
a madman: I've had dinner with Pappy at the Trail Dust in Mesquite, TX. That's as close to hell on Earth as you'll ever see.
Jube: I fully blame Quake for my lack of a social life and empty wallet. Bad Quake, go to your room!
IceStorm: What evils? Well, it made me meet the PQ staff. Thats about as close to evil as I'm willing to get.
f4nt0m45: Quake's been pretty damn good to me for the most part.. But thanks to it I was put face to face with IceStorm in the middle of Honky Tonk land, which was rather frightening.
Skeezix: It has probably helped *avoid* some evils. Those people at work that deserve a shotty full of ... errr umm did I say that out loud ? It has been a great releaser of tension, lets just put it that way.

Who are these people anyway?

Pappy-R is the PlanetQuake Site Director and ensures that all the coolness on PQ that happens, happens.
a madman is the official PQ Content Manager, and when he's not doing that he's insulting people in the Mailbag. It's a good job.
Jube runs the morning shift around here, and posts more news before 9 am than most people do all day.
IceStorm takes care of two things for us - news, and PQ's "excess beer" problem.
f4nt0m45 is the quintessential PQ newsie, dishing out the news and even hammering out the occasional article.
Skeezix is a regular on IRC, and threatened Pappy with a large trout to get on the poll this week.
