PQ in Review
IceStorm recaps last week and all the things you may have missed! - by IceStorm

PQ In Review: You mean there's monkeys in the tree's?

News

Whew....it's been more then a week since PQ in Review has been up and I apologize. Nuff said. On with the show. Model of the week with our buddy and pal, Ice, made a excellent comeback with a model from Polycount. Some of you, and some of us, may have caught a strange site by seeing Pappy-R over at PlanetWolfenstein. But not to worry, it's all part of my sinister plan! Bwahahahahaha ahem... Speaking of mail, the PlanetQuake Mailbag was brought back into action by A Madman and he shows off that, yes, he to can pimp. Hunt showed up in MoTW and Abomonog puts it through it's paces. More and more levels are being propped over at ..::LvL at a seemingly insane pace. Me thinks they're playing catch up (or is that ketchup?). It also seems that some of us are unaware that there are some patches out for the latest release of Alliance. And lastly, with the Christmas season upon us there will be more updates for Quake III mods then you can shake a stick at. What do you want from Santa?

Coming Soon

Settle down and saddle up because there's a new version of Proball and it's coming soon. According to Kalo some new changes to version 1.2 are items like

  • Pausing a game
  • New Graphics
  • Maps
  • and so much more. This one should be a big release for Proball and promises to be more fun then the original release.

    Stump the Chump

'Tis the season to be jolly. Fa la la la la *cough*. The question is: "What is the favorite flavor ice cream of John Walker (American terrorist fighting for the Taliban)?"

Casey the great creator of Threewave CTF:

    Tora Bora Berry

    IceStorm:

And the answer is (this is gonna be bad)...........boys-n-berry

You too can submit a "Stump the Chump" question, just e-mail me!

    IceStorm's Thought o' the Week

Good...bad...indifferent...I don't think it much matters now. These past few I've seen less servers filled up for Quake III and it's mod's and more servers filled for Return to Castle Wolfenstein. Thus begins the slow, yet inevitable, decline usage of Quake III Arena. If you think of the evolution of games, you can see how it's like the movie "The Matrix" in some ways. Either way, it's a bitchin' game so if you don't have it yet, ask Santa Claus for it. Maybe you'll get lucky. I know I'm hoping I do. Oh, and a subscription for a Fileplanet Personal Server!

    P.S. Reindeer meat is tasty!
