PQ in Review
IceStorm recaps the week and all the goodies you may have missed! - by IceStorm

PQ In Review: I am the llama king!

News

Ok, the show is over. Everyone back to their seats. Nothing to see here. Well, at least for this. This here be the last o' the PlanetQuake in Review for the year 2001, or Y2k1. But this week's past has had some good things to show for it. The Mod of the Week pulled up with some holiday cheer from Abomonog. And an ass load of levels were put up with our Levels of the Week section where we had a lotw for all three Quakes. Ain't that something? Also we had the boys over at the level cave and over at Ethereal Hell put up some of their reviews too. Now you'd figure with all these reviews, there has to be maps as well. Good thinking. So with that, this week we've gotten up Home of the Gamer and Evil Space from [HFX]. The team from Navy Seals have outted a movie preview of their upcoming release. It's hot. You'll love the smoking gun animation. Animal Arena proves that class based mods can always be different, with their latest beta release weighing in at only 7mb. And lastly some new backdrops have become public over at Quake the Wall. These new venues show some real talent. Keep on trucking.

Coming Soon

The Quake III mod True Combat. You should already know this mod. If you don't, then stop playing the roll of a n00b and go download this mod. With the release of build 12 this mod has come into it's own. With the introduction of the Unlagged from Neil Toronto and ZCam from Avi Rozen, the reaction time has improved dramatically. So if you're not in the know, then at least get off your ass and go check out the screenshots.

Stump the Chump

Zee kvestion is: "How much wood would a woodchuck chuck, if a woodchuck could chuck wood?"

Pappy-R (the R stands for 'rats ass'):

4.3 tons per annum

Jube -a- Roni:

A woodchuck would chuck 5.7 pounds of wood per week.

a madman:

He's union, so he can't chuck any wood without the proper paperwork.

IceStorm the village drunk:

He would chuck, he would, as much as he could, And chuck as much wood as a woodchuck would if a woodchuck could chuck wood. BTW...what's a annum?

You too can submit a "Stump the Chump" question, just e-mail me!

IceStorm's Thought o' the Week

With the passing of Christmas only means one thing...New Year's Eve and resolutions. With that my resolution is to stop threatening my friends "don't make me pull out my railgun", no more "beer and instagib" binges, and to actually sit down and do a serious PQ in Review....at least once. Ok, I promise to give up drooling on myself while starring at Jube when she's doing QuakeScopes. At least I'll try. Oh, and I promise not to gloat when I school Pappy-R in a game of Quake III.
