Alas, I must start this week's PlanetQuake in Review with the intro from ass whoopin' that our man Pappy-R gave to Jube. With a losing score of 21-1, I don't think I'd be willing to show my face in public. But not Jube, she's a real trooper. I just can't wait to show her what a real game looks like! Speaking of finals, Alliance Games is stating that the just released version 3.3 is the final version. Make sure you're up to date. Oh, talking of the PlanetQuake family I want to (this for Pappy-R) thank Gizmo-Z and Jube for helping him get all set up in his new office. We all know how lazy he is. He better make reparations soonest or he'll get beat up. Or even Annihilation has got up some new graphics that can make your eye's water. Oh yeah, if you're into seeing where you stand then you gotta check out the info on GameSpy stats. It covers just about everything, so find out where you stand. Ah yes, this weeks Mod of the Week showed us the now released beta of Navy Seals. Its got screenies and what you'll need before you try and download the 193mb file. For those of us that dig the past, RetroQuake put up some really nice reviews for Quake II. I personally still play Q2 CTF whenever I can. Rail wars commence! And if you're a clan leader, or in a clan, Micro Scripts is here to help you track your activities as a clan such as matches, stats, etc. Its something really nice to have. And lastly, the contest is over for the Sidrial Map Contest. Oh wait, one more thing I want to say. If you're looking for some awesome maps with excellent game flow, then you MUST check out The Vast and Furious by ButterB and Harder than Hate by PJW. These are some of the best out lately.
"Enemy sighted". Something you'll hear a lot of if you're playing the just released beta of Navy Seals: Covert Operations. I've played it a lot this week and have enjoyed some of the differences in it compared to other Quake III mods. Many people are doing their best to compare it one on one with other realistic mods out, but it's a game unto it's own. I suggest that you download this huge monster, load it up and see the work behind it. While the game play is slow, the deaths are even faster. One problem however is recognition of the bad guys, the models are similar at first until you get used to them. But once you do, it's gravy. Check out Navy Seals and get up to date.
Stump the Chump
Last Week's Question was: "How much dirt is in a hole that measures 1 meter by 1 meter by 1 meter?"
The Answer Is:
Its a hole, thus no dirt.
The Winners Were:
- Stuart Howlette
- Adrian Larose
- ConfusedUs (Ok, he's wallhacking me)

I must be mental to give such an easy question like that.
This Week's Question is: "How many bottles of beer are there on the wall?"
E-mail me the correct answer and the winners names will be posted in next week's PQ in Review.
You too can submit a "Stump the Chump" question, just e-mail me!
IceStorm's Thought o' the Week
Ok people, yall need to get a virus scanner NOW! And I'm not playing. Do you know how many viruses I get sent to me every day? More then 20, easy. It's sad too. If you're emailing me, then you're on the internet. If you're on the internet, you can download a virus scanner for free. Some are better then others, but I'm not going to advertise for any of them. I will however say that if you don't have one....GET ONE. And one more thing from myself here. Stay tuned to a new feature, from yours truly, here in PlanetQuake. It something for the community, from the community. You'll see. :)
