PQ in Review
IceStorm recaps the week and all the goodies you may have missed! It's almost like having candy. - by IceStorm

PQ In Review: What is it about bacon that you don't understand?

News

Hooray for Hollywood, or Threewave in this case. Casey has put up some info related to the upcoming release of version 1.5. Stay tuned. The third time's a charm in the case of Quake 3 Fortress. Yep, they've spent the whole week setting up for the next release of Q3F. Info from Devathon can be had at PQ3F. Some new soundage philes popped up from over at Annihilation. Sweet tune's to frag by. Got help? Need help? Want some help? How about a helping hand? Then PlanetQuakes Help Wanted Section is just what you're looking for. It's live and it's happening. Be there for your help wanted desires. Oh, and you've probably noted that a new face in PlanetQuake town. f4nth0m45 has joined up our crew. He'll be posting news just like the rest of us as well as many other things. Send a note to say hi. Oh yeah, version 2.0 of Seismovision was released for all your demo playing needs. This is a great utility to have for all kinds of game demos. Deja Review has put up another review for ya, just like they have done over at MulitplayerQuake.com. I likes me reviews. And you know that if you're talking about reviews, then you must be talking about LVL. Yet another bunch of 'em. And lastly, something that I don't speak enough about. Quake The Wall has added more of your fine ass art to it's collection. Step over, look in. You'll see.

Coming Soon

Well, from the latest over at Threewave you'll catch up to what they're working on for the next release of version 1.5. Goodies like autoradio, team balancing, colored lightning/plasma/rockets, and other stuff. Not only do we get these great additions, but (my favorite) also EIGHT MORE LEVELS of Threewave joy. Come on Casey, work it. BTW, can I get a peek at the new levels? hehe

Stump the Chump

Last Week's Question was: "How many bottles of beer are there on the wall?"

The Answer Is:

No bottles of beer on the wall because IceStorm drank it all. And he didn't even share! ;).

The Winners Were:

  • Jube (She knows me too well)
  • Jason Vaughn
  • ConfusedUs (Mumbling something incoherent about dolphins)

This Week's Question is: "Where did the name 'Wendy' originate?"

    IceStorm:

E-mail me the correct answer and the winners names will be posted in next week's PQ in Review.

You too can submit a "Stump the Chump" question, just e-mail me!

    IceStorm's Thought o' the Week

I think it's obvious some people didn't get the word last week about virus scanners and their help towards a beautiful society. Well lads and lasses, I'm almost down to begging. Think about how sad it would be to see someone like me begging you to get a virus scanner. It's not hard really, and they take up so little space. And if you teach them well, they can learn to yoddle. So please, for the love of Quake fragmeisters everywhere, get a scanner. It's for the good of the world.
