Oh and speaking of destruction, D-Day: Normany has released a windows installer version for their Q2 TC. Pappy-R has a really good MP3 featuring a really neat Quake 3 Tune. Its not to big but sounds really cool. A DM map pack called System Failure has been released by the goo crew at Burial Grounds. And with this release of the pack comes crews just dieing to review the pack like DTeam and of course it was also given the summary review over at lvl. Quick eh? The UnOfficial Map Pack was also released and is compatible with a butt load like CTF, Threewave, TA, etc. And lets give up a "Hell Yeah" for the triumphant return of the Rant & Rave. This week Dekard gives us an ear full and we respond. I like my reply the best! haha A load of community maps is out over at Weapons Factory Direct, and the GeoComp2 winners have been announced. And the Quake 3 Map Database has been re-opened as well. And lastly, the news many have awaited. id software has announced DOOM III and will show it off at E3. Bid for Power attempts to capture the feel of anime style ki fighting. In the first release of BFP, 6 of the strongest fighters in the universe enter the arena in a fight for domination. And so goes the story behind this Quake III total conversion. Version 1.2 of this TC is set to be released on Monday the 6th of May. You'll want to make sure you know all about the game modes to get the full effects of this fun mod.

IceStorm's Thought o' the Week
Massive reviews and listings of maps, yet it seems that many level creators seem to keep their works of art more on the quite side. Maybe they're a bit gun shy about seeing many bad reviews, maybe they don't think it's very good. Who knows. All I know is that level authors that have been out for some time show me that skill and effort can go a long way. And also not to expect everything immediately. Good things aren't fast. And great thing come in their own time. So myself, along with all of you, should tell ourselves to relax and stop throwing little temper tantrums when we don't get things our way. And you server admins need to take a chill pill and realize that not everyone see's things the same way you do. And just because you've got the password, doesn't make you God. Don't fly off the handle and be so quick to boot someone. Listen, learn, everyone can teach anyone something. Until next week my little friends, I bid you a fond "click"...................
