Saddle up partner, cause it's getting close for a shoot 'em up over at Western Q3. Jube did the QuakeScopes and we even had madman do up another PlanetQuake Mailbag. Ain't he the peachiest? And our Mod of the Week features some awesome mod'age. Speaking of some mod's, updates a plenty from the likes of Proball about some future happenings, DmTrent QuAkE2 for Quake 2, and some great new mapping screenshots for Urban Terror can be found over at The 6th Floor. Skins? You wants skins too? Sheesh, is there no pleasing you people? Fine, fine. Take a look at this new skin of the Winchester 1866 that is posted up over at Weapons Workshop. Thats not all thats there, look around. Oh yeah, almost forgot about the update for Threewave up to version 1.6. It's small so don't sweat it. Lastly, a great fun map that anyone will probably every play is now over in our Level of the Week. This week we've featured Mario Opposing Castles and it's a blast from the past. New textures and more. Find out now.
Ever see the movie Starship Trooper? Good, so have I. Then there's no introduction needed for the upcoming release of Roughnecks: Operation Pest Control. With maps, models, skins, and a story line to go off of, this should be one fun mod for Quake 2. Hate bugs? Good, now here's your chance to get back at them. So check out all the screenshots they have up and get ready for a squishing good time.

IceStorm's Tip o' the Week
With the release of America's Army: Operation 'Recon' I've never seen such a mad rush to download a game. Actually, I am very impressed. The game is free, it's realistic (I mean it puts some sloppy mod's like CS to shame in realism), and it's a blast to play. But what concerns me is that people are whining about it. The game's free. Don't like it, don't play it. A simple decision. But alas, we all must have something to say sometimes. So instead of crying about how life isn't fair and we're not getting our way, lets have some patience, give credit for the team that put this out. And lets also be amazed at the price they charged. GG America's Army crew. You've done an outstanding job. Woo ahh!!
