PQ In Review: Don't Eat Yellow Rail Slugs!

News

With the full heat of summer leaning on, you've got to wonder sometimes. With all these bugs around, even the latest release of the Hunt Mod is out squishing some. Jube does her part of cooling things down with her weekly QuakeScopes. Think...cooooool. The Senior Gaming League did some updates with their latest winners, and the Reaction Quake 3 team did their part to stir up a breeze too. Updating to the latest is GameSpy 3D to version 2.61 with some new games in the update. Sluggo was able to post up a sweet interview with some of the id software crew dogs to bark up about the future. And if you want to see some sweet candy, check out the shot over at Weapons Factory Arena. Nice huh? Oh yeah, stupid me, forgot to talk about the interview on SuperHeros with it's creator. Don't let me do that anymore. Oh yeah, if you're into some TC (total conversion) action, then you MUST check out the stuff at Tremulous. Sweet as honey, and only half the fat. And to finish up this weeks PQ in Review, I bring you the last of the comments from Pappy-R from PlanetQuake @ QuakeCon 2002.
/me likes brownies!

Coming Soon

I always seem to give Kalo a hard time when I see him. Mostly because I'm teasing him by calling him a slacker for not doing anything. But he's a busy boy. Meaning that word has it that he's working on the latest update to Proball. The next update, version 1.2, should have you ready to roll up your sleeves and whip out your gauntlet for some Proball action. I still say he should have the spectators sit in the stands!

Stump the Chump

Last Week's Question was:

What is Pappy-R's favorite airline?

The Answer Is:

"The one that gets me there!"

The Winners Were:

  • Jube
  • ConfusedUs
  • (Only because he cheated!)
Ok, that was a tricky one. I'm a sneaky bastard ain't I?

This Week's Question is:
If Jube falls into the void, and no one is around to hear her. Does she still make a sound?

IceStorm:

E-mail IceStorm the correct answer and your name will be posted in next week's PQ in Review. If you're smart enough!

You too can submit a "Stump the Chump" question, just e-mail me!

IceStorm's Tip o' the Week

Rail light, rail bright, first rail I see tonight. I wish I may, I wish I might, I wish I rail your ass tonight. You see, I can tell bedtime stories to the children of Quake. After looking at the community of players before and after QuakeCon, I can really see a difference in the players. Now it seems that people actually are being human and paying attention to what they're saying. I guess that once you put a face to a player, you start to realize that it's just a game but the players are real. Ain't life grand? Oh, and Jube....you best be packin' for next Qcon.....or else!
