PQ in Review
IceStorm recaps the week and all the goodies you may have missed! It's almost like having candy. - by IceStorm

PQ In Review: Give her a squeeze, see if she squeaks.

News

From the looks of things this week, everyone seems to be clearing up for the rest of the summer. The children are back in school (for the most part), while the adults are still going to work. As for us, well we just stuck with the norm. And of course brought you some news. For instance, did you know that Navy Seals: Covert Operations are working on version 1.3? You would if you paid attention. Or how about the PlanetQuake Level of the Week was Orbital Rampage? Nope, still nothing? Hmmmm. Ok then, did you know that Munyal Verminard latest is up for beta status on his site? I did. We also got some news from Team Evolve about their upcoming release of version 3.0. Some new models were showing off at Polycount and also a new mod called Super Quake Arena is gearing up for action. And finally some news from our buddies at Etheral Hell about a new Q1SP called Fearcraft. See, this week wasn't a total loss after all. Some good did come out of it.

Coming Soon

I'll say this again until you get it into your head. R-E-A-C-T-I-O-N Q-U-A-K-E 3. This week they've pushed out their latest release, version 2.2. This release incorporates a lot of updates and fixes too numerous to mention here. Some of the new stuff? Well, I'm gonna force you to download it and install it. They've got two different version for the install, full and upgrade from 2.1. So if you're a ActionQuake fan, you'll just drool for Reaction Quake 3. Plain and simple, it's just sweet anyway you look at it.

Stump the Chump

Last Week's Question was:

If Jube falls into the void, and no one is around to hear her. Does she still make a sound?

The Answer Is:

"Yes she does, but we can't print those words on PlanetQuake!"

The Winners Were:

  • Jens Rösner
  • ConfusedUs
  • (Good answer, but I better not let Jube know what you said)
  • Stan
  • Darren Whitfield
Ok boys, if she see's some of your answers she'll kick my butt!

This Week's Question is:
If Pappy-R and Jube both RJ at the same time, who will go higher?

IceStorm:

E-mail IceStorm the correct answer and your name will be posted in next week's PQ in Review. If you're smart enough!

You too can submit a "Stump the Chump" question, just e-mail me!

IceStorm's Tip o' the Week

With summer waining I can already see birds heading south for the winter. Problem is, I live in the south. So now I get all your dang birds all over the place. While normally that's not a problem, it can be deadly when you're riding a motorcycle at 60mph. But I'm getting better at dodging the bird slugs. I swear they can aim from that altitude! On that point, I want to take you to the efforts of each and every map author. We all play on their levels some place at some time. You should at least take a moment to check out their sites. Show some respect, they do this for free. So grow up and be a man/woman, not some little spoiled brat (like me). Remember to tip your waitress.
