First off I want to extend Pappy-R a heart felt "atta boy" for his 3 year anniversary on The Big Fuzzy. GGG Ok now, onto the week in review. Quake fans can rejoice this week with the release of Quake Matrix for Quake 1. All the action and characters from the movie are included. Go for it Neo. Jube (J00bie) gave yet another impressive performance in this weeks QuakeScopes. She hits the nail on the head each week. Reaction Quake 3 released beta version 2.25 this week. Oh yeah, something cool too over at Atari Times with a Q3A level based on the old Atari 2600 game "Adventure". If you're old school, this is a blast from the past. Onto maps now. lvl has some end user reviews up, and the Map Database extended it hold as well. Models have been added to the Western Q3 site for Calamity Jane. She's a hotty with an attitude. This time around in the PlanetQuake Mod of the Week they bring you "Railgun Frenzy". Abomonog went on a slug firing rampage this time! And one of my favorite sites, Deja Review posted up two reviews of some level conversion love.
I'm going to have to agree with Abomonog this week for the mod of the week. Railgun Frenzy makes rail guru's in normal Quake 3 seem like Rail Gods in this mod. The size of the mod is overly small and now if the server is updated, you won't have to download the mod at all. Sweet huh? While the fire rate of the railgun is faster than normal, the health and armor levels are different as well. Like most small mod's, this one is really fun to play with. Try the alternate fire, it's a hoot.

IceStorm's Tip o' the Week
Lately I've been the butt of jokes, most immature seemingly, and other atrocites. No big deal really. I've been called names, and other childish things. At first I was somewhat pissed, but then I actually thought about it all and the people behind it. I realized that I was dealing with children. The likes that I dare not waste my time, or my energy with. You see, if I was to lower myself to them I'd be just as bad and just as immature. But what's sad is these are the type of people that act really tough behind a keyboard but are scared to death to tell their mothers and fathers how they feel and what they think. So in reflection it's really them that are the butt of the joke. They themselves are the joke. While no one is perfect, laughing at others when you're too afraid to even laugh at yourself, makes everything about you perfectly clear. Welcome to IceStorm's class in theory 101. GGG BTW....karate men bruise on the inside!
