Ok boys and girls, get your funkified levi's on and lets get ready to rock. First off the big news this week is the Q3A 1.32 Point Release. Read up on the Duffmeister's .plan file for the low down and get picked up. Now that's over, shall we? The Western Quake 3 site's been updated as they near their release of version BETA 2.0. Meaning that it's not a full fledged mod yet, but it's almost there! And also the Weapons Factory Arena team is getting ready for their own release of version 3.5 too. One of my most favorite mods, Tribal CTF, they've given notice that they are still in action with some nice updates over there. I loved Sentinel V! The Midget Wars is nearing release soon. It's a blast over there, check them out asap. Quint has released his final maps for Q3A in a map pack called Qvisions. These three maps have also been entered into the Map Database over at Ice Terminal along with a few more maps as well. But if end user reviews are you schtick, then you know that lvl is the place. And Corkscrew version 2.16 is out for the masses along with it's source code. This weeks Level of the Week features some nice classic Quake action. A new movie popped up from the Q3 Runner has hit the shelves too. And lastly, BETA 2.4 of Matrix Q3 is out too with a lot of new stuff and fixes too. With all these beta version updates coming out, make sure you're all up to date. I know I am.
Ok boys and girls, if you've noticed (read the first sentence above if you haven't) that id software has released the 1.32 point release for Q3. If you don't have it yet, then get the Windows version here or get the Linux version here. Most of the mod makers are coming out saying if their mod works with it or not. Most do. Nice touch huh? But what you don't know is how many other mod's have been waiting for this release so they can update their mod too. For example, you'll soon see Threewave with a new version as well as urban Terror too. Most of the big teams have waited for this to ensure their latest is the greatest. So tweak up your modems and get ready for a new batch of updates to your favorite Q3 mods.

IceStorm's Tip o' the Week
I want to take this time to thank everyone that's jumped into our little IRC channel (#planetquake) over at ETG. While our channel isn't large in audience, it's still as lively as it was when I first started it. Actually, it's better. Now we get to pick on Gleeb too. But it's actually very enjoyable to sit and joke and talk to people you've played games with, and to talk about upcoming events. For the most part, each of your PlanetQuake staff is there at one time or another. So if you got something on your mind, pissed off, boastful, suffer from insomnia, drunk, happy, tired of those fake assed reality shows (hehe jube), or just want to idle. Well now you know where to come. So grab a drink, kick your shoes off, sit a spell. Clothing optional per Jube's new rule.
