It's almost Hallow's Eve. And you know what that means. Yeah, me either. On with the good stuff. BattleBots are back in action once again giving some big updates to their mod. And of course Rocket Arena 3 fans should know that an update for their favorite mod is up and coming. Sweet huh? Ya want some info on maps? Good, cause there's some reviews out this week. Over at Ten Four Maps they've reviewed a Q1SP level, and if you're looking for just some miscellaneous reviews by end users you can check out LVL, and even over at Leak Spot posted up some reviews of a french authored level. On the fun side, Midget Wars released beta 1 of their mod. You can even check out a video of it before you download it. You know...try before you buy kinda thing. The World of Padman has been updated with some info they need from you. Hows that for a change? The Reaction Quake 3 site has bene updated with the change log updated for version 2.3 of the mod. With the next release coming soon, ya might want to give this a read. And you know that it's always fun to sick your dog on the mailman, well here at PQ we sick the mailman on your dog. Check out this weeks PlanetQuake Mailbag with your hosts a madman and of course his partner in crime, dire hamster. These two kill me. And the last bit of news you might want to drop into would be the Q3 Config Generator that's an automated tool for tweaking your game with fps rates, effects, and other goodies.
I'm not a fan of the rocket launcher. Mainly because people use it only to spam with and it requires no skill to use. So I consider it a newbie weapon. But as for the Rocket Arena Q3A modification, that's the whole point. The author, crt, is planning on releasing a new version now that the source code for 1.32PR is out. This next release is going to be centered around fixing the massive cheating going on with that mod and also to ensure it's compatible with punk buster. So get ready for some updated Rocket Arena Q3A action soon.

IceStorm's Tip o' the Week
Ok, today is the day to move your clocks back one hour. Yeah, I forgot about it too last night. I woke up and my system said it was like 7:30AM. I freaked out. So then I went back to bed for an hour just to make sure I was ok. So now I sit here doing this instead of sleeping. How nice of me huh? haha Actually, this week has been really slow for me. It's been raining here almost non stop the whole week and it's been cold. Yeah, sucky weather. And to top that off I haven't rode my bike the whole week. Its almost giving me withdrawls. But I'll be back on it this week I hope. Other then that, I've been checking out some more levels from people and even some levels for Unreal Tournament 2003. Nice graphics on those, but the game play on some has me worried if they'd be used in a CTF or Bomb run level. Oh well. And lastly I want to give a shout out to those guys (and girls) over at the server. Good clan, good people, great games. Thanks for time.
