With the QuakeScopes and the Mod of the Week, along with yours truly, PlanetQuake just keeps doin' it right. But what else went right this past week? How about the updated over at BombQ3 with some screenshots. LVL is now up to a big number of paragraph size user reviews. An interview over at ESReality with Urban Terror programmer Peter McNeill. And also from ShackES they bring you the follow up article to Quake 3 CTF History Part I. StarDate: Night Time gives us some info on the progress of their present works. Some new fresh ways to enjoy Q3Fortress in the form of new files so even us slow pokes can setup fast! And if you're in the market for a new Quake DM level then check out Vondur and Uzuldaroum. And a toasty and tastey update from the folks at Saviour of Strength with a pair of red hot screenshots.
Howdy there padna! I suggest you best hitch up and get on before all the viddles are gone. Or you can just download the latest and greatest beta of Western Quake3. This bad boy is ~150MB so it's not for the light of heart or anyone with a dial up with big plans for the phone line. If anyone out there doesn't know about this mod then you're missing out big time. If you're tired of that same old Quake, then this is your chance to change it. With sounds, levels, models, and weapons this mod brings it all back to the wild west. So download version beta 2.0 of Western Quake3 and lets get busy. Its a showdown at high noon!

IceStorm's Tip o' the Week
Ok, the bologna thing didn't go over to well. I suppose maybe thats a locational thing. Maybe not. Who knows. But what I do know is that summer is coming soon. This weekend it's been in the 70's and I've been outside in it. I mean, I've been locked up inside for a few months now and it's good to get out. Maybe you all should to. Get some sun on that pasty skin of yours. Being a geek is ok, but so is nature. For those of you that are level authors, you know that being outside gives you ideas on what architecture you can use in your next level. So get outside you slackers! Make sure you set your status as /away!
