PQ in Review
This is where I recap the week and all the good stuff you may have missed! It's like having the GL when everyone is lagged! - by IceStorm

PQ In Review: Damn! It's April already.

News

Does anyone think that the QuakeScopes are rigged? Me thinks she's got something up her sleeves. And this past week we had some of the PlanetQuake Mailbag of love. Speaking of that warm fuzzy, who here needs an ass load of avatars? I know that Avatars Inc. is the place to be if you are in dire need! And I'm talking a serious load. What about the juice? Ya needs da juicy juice doncha? Yeah baby, and Giex has the freshly squeezed for your needs. And some more of the Quake II passion with a SP mission pack called Pax Imperia that can really lock -n- load. And some really excellent news about the upcoming glorious release of version 3.0 of Reaction Quake 3. Thats the heat I'm talking about. And since most people don't understand the concept of CTF (yes, it requires TEAM not a DM with flags) a new mod for Q3 dueling fanatics called Gekokujo with some hot features you'll love. Over at LadyGamers they've posted up a review and some interviews. Even one with Bitter Ivy now that she's not AFK......still. Damn kittens, kill them all I say. ;) And I know that ConfusedUs would have a cow if you don't check out the latest over at Generations Arena with new shots and sweet candy effects. A new patch came out for QuArK to fix a nasty crash bug. It's computerized insecticide! Also some encouraging verbage on the Military Forces talking about a new beta possibly soon. Ok, and this is the last time I'm going to say this. Get your dang nappy rear end over to the PlanetQuake Poll and vote. It's your duty and your priviledge. Do not take advantage of this freedom!

Coming Soon

Well you gotta know I'm gonna talk about the impending release of version 3.0 of Reaction Quake 3. The code has been frozen meaning no more updates to it. They are also dropping the "beta" from the release nomenclature. Huh? Say what? Jump back, wanna kiss myself! Heeeeyyyyyy.... That means that this version will be an actual release and no longer a beta. Tentatively, they're planning on a Saturday, April 12th release at 9 PM CET (2100) which is 3 PM EST (1500). So get ready to get your new copy of Reaction Quake 3. I rock.

Stump the Chump

Last Week's Question was:

What moves upward and downward but only moves forward?

The Answer Is:

"The wing of a bird"

The Winners Were:

  • Phoenix (Good job, you got them all!)
He got ya, admit it. Ok, get ready.

This Weeks Question Is:

Forwards is heavier, backwards is not. What is it?

IceStorm:

E-mail IceStorm the correct answer and your name will be posted in next week's PQ in Review. If you're smart enough!

You too can submit a "Stump the Chump" question, just e-mail me!

IceStorm's Tip o' the Week

With the United States and Britain, along with many other countries, presently at war over in Iraq I wanted to take a moment in time to say that I thank each of those soldiers for defending not only themselves and their families, but for defending myself and my family as well. Without your selflessness and sacrifices, freedom would only be a word and not a reality. Our countries cannot even begin to repay you for what you do. We pray for your safe and expediant return to a home that is more then grateful for what you are doing. You make us proud. We salute you. When you do get back, I got first game!
