PQ in Review
This is where I recap the week and all the good stuff you may have missed! It's like having the GL when everyone is lagged! - by IceStorm

PQ In Review: Here Comes Speed Racer

News

A new version of FuhQuake is out for all this week. Version v0.28 is now available and has some new offerings. One of my favorite sites (beides PQ), World of Padman, popped up some new screenshots of the next eye candy masterpiece. And this week got a little boost from a new release of Telejano Quake for your classic Quake tastebuds. Cardigan has released a new Q3 map called "Estatica" and its getting some rave reviews from the masses. Someone remind me to get this asap. A new PlanetQuake Poll has been up this week with some sweet questions and answers. Of course, mine are always from the smartass side of town. ;) And some props go out to the guys over at DaZ Dranz Level Cave for their release of "Teardrop" for some DM action. A three minute comedy short film called Bouncer Please is out over on the Stardate: Night Time site. This is really cool with what they can do with the Quake 2 engine. And you had better R U N over to DPU Productions for the release of their new video trailer for the upcoming Q3 movie.

Coming Soon

Ok, besides the weekly input from yours truly I wanted to make sure everyone (yes, you too) knew about all the other PlanetQuake features that we have around this place. While it is messy (because Jube has been slacking in her cleaning duties) and sometimes even a bit loonie, it's all still one great place to party and dig up a lot of info for anything and everything Quake. I mean, if you haven't checked out the QuakeScopes then just exactly how do you plan your week? And we also have the Mod of the Week and also the Level of the Week. And everyone already knows about the PlanetQuake Poll, or at least they should. And if they don't, feed them to the animals! And if you're into that loonie side of things, then I know you're hip to the PlanetQuake Mailbag with those crazy people over on those pages. And occasionally we'll pop up something strange here in the Week in Review. So with all these features, you'd be a homer not to visit this place more often. But then again, if you did come all the time I'd be out of a job. Hmmmm Ok, nevermind what I just said.

Stump the Chump

Last Week's Question was:

Do you pronounce the capital of Kentucky "Louisville" or "Louieville"?

The Answer Is:

"Frankfort"

The Winners Were:

  • THE JEW (RaVeN)
  • Kal Bob [PX]
  • Nebuchadnezzar
  • ConfusedUS (Welcome back strange person)
  • Musashi
  • Don Pedro!
  • [AfZ]TomServo1
  • kn1ves
It was a trick question. To those of you that said Louieville...gotcha!

This Weeks Question Is:

What becomes larger by taking away from it? (Thx Phoenix)

IceStorm:

E-mail IceStorm the correct answer and your name will be posted in next week's PQ in Review. If you're smart enough!

You too can submit a "Stump the Chump" question, just e-mail me!

IceStorm's Tip o' the Week

I want to take this time to apologize to everyone, mostly to Pappy-R, for slacking myself on my duties to PlanetQuake. There have been times when I failed to do what I needed to, for what ever reasons. I'm one of those people that believe that my real life and my family come first, but even so I should of been an adult about it and said something. I apologize for my lapse in judgement. For that, I will gladly let everyone frag me for a day without any retrobution (except a gauntlet kiss for those that get to close). Come to the PQ IRC channel and we'll chat it up. Cheers mates. Someone pour me a Four X!
