The id Demo Analyzer (idDA) is a utility to analyze demos recorded with (and logs created by) games by id Software (doesn't the name imply that?): Quake, Quakeworld and Quake 2. You can use it via the Windows Explorer (by doubleclicking a demo) or manually in a DOS-window (where you can analyze more than one demo at once and take full advantage of all of idDA's options).

The Quake 3 Log Analyzer (Q3LA) is the same thing as idDA, just that it only works with Quake 3 Arena's games.log, not with demos (because the Q3 demos are compressed and  nobody released their specs yet - and I doubt that someone  is going to release them). To see what it looks like, have a look at the sample output.
