Fast Ethernet: n.: A standard for LAN (Local Area Network) that can transfer at 100Mbps (Megabits per second), which is 10 times as fast as regular Ethernet (10Mbps). There is also now a new standard, called Gigabit Ethernet, which is 1Gbps (1,000Mbps).

First Person Shooter: n.: A game that is viewed from the eyes of the character (first-person view), where the object of the game is to shoot enemies.

Flame: v.: To communicate emotionally and/or excessively via electronic mail, chat, or multiplayer games. In other words, to insult someone online.

FOV: Short for "Field of View." It's the area you can see. In most FPS games, your FOV is 90 degrees, so you can see a right angle of things.

FPS: Short for "First Person Shooter."

Frag: n.: In a game, it means a kill. If you frag someone, you killed their character.
