Now, you probably noticed that when I hit the Hide Selected Objects button, that it did just that - removed them from the screen.
Be aware that the Hide Selected Objects in the View menu does the same as the button on the toolbar. If you want to temporarily hide an object from view - you'll be creating a new VisGroup!
Now, let's bring our VisGroup back. This button's tooltip says Show all visgroups. Click it, and the two story room reappears in all its glory.

Now, be careful with this button:

Its role in life is to Hide all unselected objects - and make a visgroup of dozens of objects in the process...
Just look what happens:

I selected this one brush and hit the button. Everything but that brush disappeared. Talk about truth in advertising! What it didn't tell you was the fine print that looks like this:

To bring everyone back, all we need do is press this button:

And, since we really don't want a visgroup of the whole level, we'll drag the 139 objects out of the dialog and answer Yes when asked if we wanna delete it.
