mynx-be-illin: Of course. The checkout geek stared at my chest the entire time, too.
Lee'Mon: I preordered it, and picked up a copy for a friend who couldn't get to a store. Lit his face brighter than any Christmas tree.
Spyke: Sigh.. I wish.
Ash: When it was time to answer the poll, I was in the process. But now I'm basking in the TA glory like the rest of us. =)
Pappy-R: Bought three so far and two were preordered. Yes...I like it.
Hellchick: I tried to. I spent two days looking for a parking space at the mall, and then I got trapped there for the weekend. I had to eat a Salvation Army Santa for sustinence. And I STILL didn't get a copy of Team Arena.
Fargo: All I got was a puppy.

Have you ever used the IRC Client in Rocket Arena 3?

Hell yes! That is the coolest shit ever, chat in IRC while waiting in line.

Yah, it was pretty cool, especiallly how it could echo to the console.

Yes, and it's dumb. I'm not l33t enough to need an IRC client.

mynx-be-illin: so ghey.
Lee'Mon: I don't play RA3. I do, however, play the Fully Loaded mode in WireHead's BFG10K mod, and I hope to include it in our other projects.
Spyke: Not yet! :)
Ash: Never miss a chance to p1mp your own, do ya Lee? And yes, I love being able to check who's in the clan channel while playing.
Pappy-R: Nope, I let my guns do the talking.
Hellchick: Less talk, more killing. That's my motto. And in Rocket Arena, too.
Fargo: No, but DIG that built-in MP3 player!

Are you a LAN Party fiend?

mynx-be-illin: Not I.
Lee'Mon: I've been to them, I've hosted them, hell, I went to one last Friday. Lemme give a shout to all the Nebraska fraggers... I've probably met most of you. ;^)
Spyke: Nope nope nope. This puppy stays put.
Ash: I love it, in fact, I'm still at a LAN that started at about 2:00am Christmas night.
Pappy-R: LAN to live!
Hellchick: Not really; I never have the time. Plus it's a pain in the ass carting a system around, you know?
Fargo: No, but DIG that built-in MP3 player!

mynx-be-illin: 1.27g. Word.
Lee'Mon: Both. Mods are my biatch. Ah, the joy of a 40gigger...
Spyke: 1.27g.. I like to be up to date.
Ash: Definately 1.27g.
Pappy-R: 1.27g 'cause there's nothing like numbers floating off the dead.
Hellchick: 1.27g, of course.
Fargo: 1.27 grams of what? And is that stuff pure? That would kill you.

How much do you play the previous Quake games?

AnswerVotes

Tons, QuakeWorld is still my daddy.
186
14.8%
Quite a bit, Quake 2 is all the cutting edge that I need.
198
15.8%
Some. I like to get nostalgic with Quake 2 and Quake fairly often.

273
21.8%
Never... move up, move on.
222
17.7%

mynx-be-illin: Boobies? Where?!
Lee'Mon: I play them all, but usually one of their mods while I do so.
Spyke: Not anymore, though I hope to reinstall Quake 2 now that I've got a massive hard drive.
Ash: [still looking for boobies]
Pappy-R: I hit the other Quakes about once a week and boobies more often.
Hellchick: I fire up Quake 1 every couple of weeks. I love it!
Fargo: I'm pretty much finished with Quake 2, I haven't played it for months and I think I uninstalled it. QuakeWorld, though ... I still ocasionally let that puppy roar. It's the perfect DM game, IMO.

Who are these people anyway?

Pappy-R is the PlanetQuake Site Director and ensures that all the coolness on PQ that happens, happens.
Hellchick is GameSpy's Action Genre Producer, or at least has convinced her friends that she is.
Ash is PQ's Content Manager and doesn't realize that there are other games in the world besides Quake.
Fargo has been around since the beginning of PQ. He's been known to camp everything, including the poll.
Mynx is our resident advice expert, knowledgeable about all sorts of topics that the rest of us are just too scared to touch.
Spyke does the PQ in Review, the PQ Mailbag, and your girlfriend.
Lee'Mon writes articles and editorials for PQ, which means he's really into finding things to complain about.
