If Quake was a breakfast cereal, what would it be? [submitted by Slim-Neo]

Quake Mini-Models: Edible creations of your favourite Quakers, including Sarge, Doom, Hunter and John Carmack!

26.2%

Mynx: I've always sort of wanted to eat John Carmack.. but hey, that's just me.
shaithis: The last one would probably be the best. Since I absolutely do not in any way shape or form want to be "l33t".
Hellchick: It would be Lucky Gibs!
Pappy-R: Ammo shaped crunchies with powerup marshmallow goodies.
Will: Hot, steamy cream of l33t - with a dash of cinnamon.
Demonwench: I say Quake Reese's Pieces...peanut buttery frag goodness.
Ash: I would probably just pour myself a bowl, only to find out the milk has gone bad... grrrr.

What is your favourite Cratedm3 tactic? [submitted by Juz]

Camouflage: I make like a crate until someone runs past me, then take care of them from behind

Grenade Spam: I stand in the corner lobbing grenades all over the level and I occasionally get lucky

Normal Play: Forget the crates, I just play normally and let my skills do the talking

Frag from upon high: I jump up onto a pile of crates so I can see all of the level, then frag anything that moves

Random Fire: I shoot everything, whether it moves or not, and see if I get lucky

Mynx: yadda yadda yadda
shaithis: I think the "show arrows where everyone is" powerup in CrateDM3 is ridiculous. The whole point of the mod is that you CAN'T see where everyone is.
Hellchick: Oooh...I haven't played cratedm...
Pappy-R: Blast everything! It's a mod made for the paranoid.
Will: Are you talking about me Pappy?
Demonwench: KILL EVERYTHING THAT MOVES!!! WHO CARES ABOUT POWER UPS!!??
Ash: My favorite has to be the "get stuck in a corner because the bounding box is bigger than I'm used to." I really need to practice a bit.

Mynx: When qtest first came out, I played for 12 hours straight. Oh, how my body ached.
shaithis: I usually get bored after about 30 minutes, and switch to a single-player game.
Hellchick: About two hours, generally.
Pappy-R: When I do get a chance to really go and play, it's a couple hours until my first break.
Will: Short spurts of 30 minutes, over a couple hour span.
Demonwench: I'll play until I get tired of it, varies from day to day. An hour...two...three...
Ash: Occationally I try and fit an hour between other schedule items in the day. But if I can get some real time, usually a little over two.

Mynx: All frags are aggravating :P
shaithis: What the hell?!? Getting telefragged is cool and funny. Falling off the edge of the stupid space levels is aggravating.
Hellchick: Cratering. I'm such a klutz.
Pappy-R: getting Quad with 7 health and being a newbies only frag. Oh the pain!
Will: Stairing into the eyes of a teammate as we plunge to our death. Arg!
Demonwench: Dad gum gauntlet loving monkey!!
Ash: The frag resulting from a bad weapon switch. Nothing like pulling out the rail, missing, and then takin' it up the ash while you wait for the reload.

Mynx: Just this one. Lucky me.
shaithis: One, although I use others sometimes. I never, ever play multiplayer games as "shaithis" unless it's on the company LAN.
Hellchick: One. Although most people think I'm not me.
Pappy-R: One that people know and one they don't.
Will: One that makes no sense and one that does.
Demonwench: I only need the one!

Mynx: strawberries, indeed.
shaithis: I think my favorite desert topping is probably crushed up little pieces of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. Mmmmm.
Hellchick: I'm with shaithis on this one.
Pappy-R: Chocolate syrup goes on just about everything...except bacon.
Will: Scrumptious mounds of flowing caramel for me.
Demonwench: *puurrrrr* Mmmmmmmmm...Chooooccccoooollaaaaaaattteee... *drool*
Ash: It's hard to describe how much I love food. The idea of a desert island where you can be stranded and still get dessert toppings is just too good for me.
