Is Classic Quake still on your hard drive?
Gestalt: Yes, but only just... It's the next thing to go when I run out of HD space. Doom lives on though!
Void: Hell yeah!
Bastard: 11 gigabyte hard drives are $400. What's more important than Quake?
Fargo: I had to pul it to make room for the Pic of the Day mailbox. *sigh*
What do you think of the BFG in Q2 deathmatch?
Don't like it
It's just another weapon
I like it
It's the only weapon I can kill anyone with
Gestalt: You gotta love those funky green lights! I don't use it much in DM, but in CTF it's damned handy for base defence and attack...
Void: OK in moderation... horribly annoying when it gets out of hand. Usually, I hate it.
Bastard: Fargo is a real pain in the ass with that thing.
Fargo: Look, unless you're playing in Dodger Stadium, any chump can put a pillar or corner between himself and the BFG blast. Quit yer whingin'!
Will you upgrade/replace your computer to play Quake III?
Yes - I'll do anything it takes
No - I already have a beast of a computer
No - I'm very happy with my 486DX
No - I can't afford to
Gestalt: I'm overdue an upgrade. My P166 can't take the strain any more. :-(
Bastard: Computers: the new hot rod.
Fargo: Quake III? I need no excuse to upgrade. I just need the cash. ;)
What do you think of the new movement code in Q2 v3.15?
You could make me jump and spin loops too
Ye cannee brek the laws o' physics, Cap'n
Oh, did it change?
Gestalt: Unobservant lot, aren't you? On principle I don't like the new movement code. But then I was doing a Physics degree until I discovered Quake, so I guess I'm a bit anal about conservation of momentum, inertia and stuff like that... ;-)
Bastard: Is this a trick question?
Fargo: I didn't notice anything. I must suck.
