Pappy-R: I'd kill for a Shambler! Any takers?
a madman: As much as I'd love a shambler, I doubt all that electricity ol' Shambles tosses around would be great for my computer (which has blown up FAR too often in the past year - ask Pappy). Think I'll go for a fiend, because they can hunt their own food and they still fit in the car for a trip to the vet's.
Jube: No floofy kitties in Quake. :( I'll take a Rotfish please... battered with fries on the side.
IceStorm: Scrags need love too.
Hellchick: that dog-like thing from Quake 2, the one that screeched and had the really long tongue that would cause you excruciating pain. He could attack those door-to-door magazine sales people and never leave the house!
Mr. Lake: I think orb would make a good watch-d....er....thing.

Pappy-R: When in doubt, Rocket Jump out! *PoPoinG!*
a madman: "...those who can write poll questions correctly, and those who cannot." But I'm still voting for the mongooses.
Jube: Okie dokie this question really messed with my brain, thanks JGH! In fact, it messed with my brain so much that "Snails.com" got put on a line of its own instead of tacked on to the end of "the caffeeinated and the Zzzz" reposnse where it was supposed to go. I wonder how many of you dopes voted Snails.com. ;)
IceStorm: Those who can stay on a motorcycle and those of us that can't.
Hellchick: (too busy trying to parse some of these choices)
Mr. Lake: Snails.com!?! Oh! Snails.com! (wtf?)

Pappy-R: Gen Arena it is! Coming up this week, just gotta make a config and warm up my Q2 Rail.
a madman: I'm a huge fan of Bazooka Quake 3, if that lazy asshole would ever finish that patch. Er, wait... maybe I should just say Generations, then.
Jube: This is such a loaded question and I'm a big wuss. Think about it... we have people from Gen, GoW and RQ3 (which didn't even get on the list :o) in our IRC channel every day. It's hard to kiss ass in such a situation, and I'm all about the ass kiss. *quietly says "I voted Jailbreak" and runs away*
IceStorm: Insta Freeze is Icey!
Hellchick: Oooh, tough choice! I'm a fan of them all, but I'd have to vote for RA3.
Mr. Lake: I gotta go with crt's masterpiece. Old school RA3 combat is much more appealing.

Pappy-R: All of the above, Mesquite Texas.
a madman: Distant Screams (Q3TA). I like screams, as long as they're far enough away. It's also got a pool!
Jube: I'd like to split up my next holiday between Japanese Castles (cuz it's purty) and Lava Tomb (because I'm white as a ghost and desperately need a tan).
IceStorm: What's with all the castles? Where are the rolling plains of the netherworld?
Hellchick: Japanese Castles! Still one of my favorite maps, ever.
Mr. Lake: Pack up the rockets kids, we're goin' to Japan and stayin' at uncle G1zM0's place! (I can stay at your place, right G1zM0?)

Pappy-R: Amazing in deed, I'm seriously still going through all that was released and I think it'll cover a couple more weekends at least!
a madman: Not enough SP! No matter how much there was, there could always afford to be more.
Jube: I thought QExpo rocked. The organizers and contributors really kept up a steady flow of goodies, it was great! Can't wait for the next one.
IceStorm: Aaarrrggghhhh! I hate endings.
Hellchick: I'm all for "Whoa! Quake Lives!"
Mr. Lake: Listen, about these boobie questions. Some people are going to start asking questions about the minimal educational content of these pages and sight PQ to the FCC and we'll be forced to give you the whole "life and death struggle of the Saharan flamingo lobster parrot fish". That day frightens me...so honestly, be more creative with your boobie questions (public service announcement for the "Boobies Are For Everyone" foundation.)

Pappy-R: My faves are anything for single player. The engine mods, the single player usable mods and new single player maps just make my day.
a madman: You're making me choose between maps, mods, and engines? Damn you all - I choose the booth babes, then!
Jube: Actually I was surprised there wasn't more Booth Babe action... all in all it was awesome, but I'd have to say my favourite bit was all the mod releases.
IceStorm: I'm an eye candy kinda guy. Gimme gimme sugar sweet. Oh, and boobies too.
Hellchick: The fact that the Quake 1 scene is still alive and fragging. Way to go, guys!
Mr. Lake: Crayola should rename "brown" to "Quake"...they obviously don't know the meaning of brown.

Who are these people, anyway?

Pappy-R is the PlanetQuake Site Director and ensures that all the coolness on PQ that happens, happens.
a madman is the official PQ Content Manager, and when he's not doing that he's insulting people in the Mailbag. It's a good job.
Jube runs the morning shift around here, and posts more news before 9 am than most people do all day.
IceStorm takes care of two things for us - news, and PQ's "excess beer" problem.
Hellchick gave up a promising career in the exciting field of astrophysics to make a job out of playing Quake.
Mr. Lake is the creative director over at Lake's Digital Arts. We keep him in a cage and poke him with sticks until he makes maps. Then we poke him again.
