PQ In Review: Hey, what's this button do?
This week had its ups and downs for the most part. Pappy-R and Jube both had some busy days, then had slow days. Ahh such is life. But the norm did take place with our prestigious Levels of the Week, Mod of the Week, and lets not forget the lovely and now famed Quake Scopes (which are really hot btw). Also Pappy-R spoon fed us some of the great desktops of all time with "Where you frag" pic of the day. Some of the best news this week has been the announcement that Return to Castle Wolfenstein has gone gold and should be available within a few weeks. It also seems that after the horrendous move, ..::LvL has got back on track with many new additions to it's database. Also we have a new site with us here at PlanetQuake, Retro Quake who's team is going to dazzle you with thier own rendition of some classic level reviews. Welcome aboard mates. And the latest updates and additions are the "Random Thought of the Day" by Pappy-R. If you'd like to contribute, just email Pappy-R with your weird ways of comprehension. On the other hand, many Quake 3 mod's have been updated. Mod's like Unlagged and Alternate Fire, Q3 Paintball, and others were really hot this week. So if you missed them, snap out of it and get back in to the real world. Speaking of breakfast, I hear oatmeal is making a comeback. /me gets shivers down his back.
Coming up shortly is a great new mod called Maldavria. We've put up a new set of pictures that will show off some of the beauty that is part of this mod. It's a graphical gem fest as Pappy would say. As the story goes.....the battle for control over the artifacts rages between the races and when either side gains enough power they can destroy their enemy for good. Don't miss this.
Stump the Chump
With this being the first week I'm doing this, I've decided to play a game of sorts on my co-anchor's. This is basically where I either make them look like a chump or they throw pie at me. Either way I win. So this weeks question is: "If God and Moses were playing some DM on Q3DM6, who would win and what would the final score be?"
Ten to nothing for God. God puts a burning bush into the center of the arena and frags Moses while he waits for it to speak.
I've got 50 bucks on Moses. He'll win the match 3-2 because God will be too distracted watching TV. I hear that the GGN (Global God Network) gets 1,500 channels and shows Baywatch in 20 languages!
For me, this is too easy. If God and Moses were playing DM then God would win. The final score would be 1-0. Why? Simple, first off would you frag God knowing the payback you'd receive? Me either, so I think Moses would of played it rather on the meek side of things. And Once God fragged you, it would be permanent. No respawn privledges for Moses. Oh, and God would be using the Lightning Gun. Lets face it, the LG is used to smite thee!
Inquisition Guest of the Week: Kalo from Proball, True Combat, and Threewave
God would win 1 to -1. He would kill Moses once, and ban him from coming back!
Remember, if you want to submit a "Stump the Chump" question, just e-mail me!
IceStorm's Thought o' the Week
Well, not to much is oft played it seems. New games on the horizon and some just coming out. It's hard to say with what's going on in the world how it would affect us. All I know is that you shouldn't sweat the petty things and don't pet the sweaty things.
