IceStorm recaps last week and all the things you may have missed! - by IceStorm

PQ In Review: Beware the oompa loompa's?

News

Wow...what a busy week this has been. I don't think there was any news that stayed on the main page for longer then a day or so. Some things that did pop up were about Pappy-R and his server. He's put Maldavria on his server and the times that I've dropped by it's been a busy place. And some awesome toasty news this week was that Return to Castle Wolfenstein was release to the public at large. And as usual, GameSpy Arcade followed suit by adding support for this new adventure. We've heard lots of word that the new coding for Unlagged has really been awesome with servers seemingly popping up all over. 56k'ers are rejoicing the world over! Ah, and least we forget our loving and caring Jube. With her weekly interlude of QuakeScopes where would we be? Lost I tell you. Completely and utterly lost! Ahem, sorry. And some of the latest news is about the upcoming release of Alliance 3.0. It promises to be one of the best yet from the team. And also this week we celebrated an American holiday known as Thanksgiving that started back in 1642 with the Native Americans. Its a time to spend with family and friends. God bless.

Coming Soon

Speaking of Alliance 3.0 and it's upcoming release, they've posted up a bunch of wallpapers, screenshots and even a movie in DivX format. This upcoming release is supposed to have 14 new maps as well as other bug fixes and goodies. Mr. White gave a pre-emptive interview at Homelanfed to set up the release. Make sure you're ready for this.

Stump the Chump

Yummy turkey type stuff, so here we go with week deux. And with that announcement, this weeks question is: "How do you pronounce the capital of Kentucky....is it Louie ville or Louis ville??"

Pappy-R:

Louisville

[Editor:I thought he was asking for a spell check...hmmm]

Jube:

I say it like Louie-Ville

Inquisition Guest of the Week: Kalo getting to make yet another guess this week.

Looieville!

Inquisition Guest of the Week #2: Dekard of Threewave fame.

You pronouce louisville like lew eee

IceStorm:

And the answer is (drum roll please)...........The capital of Kentucky is pronounced Frankfurt! LOL Yes, it's a trick question. But that's why I call this Stump the Chump.

Remember, if you want to submit a "Stump the Chump" question, just e-mail me!

IceStorm's Thought o' the Week

The 24th of November was offically my birthday. I'm 23.....again! hehe Outside of that we're starting to see more and more of some Quake 3 mod's. I would highly suggest you try a new mod at least once a week. You'll be so surprised at the skill and imagination out there. Plus with Alliance 3.0 coming out you'd be a fool not to. Peace, love, and more love.....oh, and beer too.
