PQ In Review: Ring in the New Year!

News

Come one, come all, we're gonna have a ball. This past week we managed to pull out another year and put it in the past, then ring in a new one. With this new year, we've got new news (huh?) and old news. Some of the hotsy totsy stuff was like Casey from Threewave and their latest release of version 1.1 and also the Mac release of the Point Release 1.31 from id software. In our first Mod of the Week of the New Year, Abomonog puts Generations Arena by Wirehead Studios under the magnifying glass! Our man on the scene of booze, glues, and mapping reviews (Tigger-On is gonna love that one) has busted the seems with mucho posting at ..::LvL. Also PQ's resident a_madman puts his psychotic hat on and goes through the PlanetQuake Mailbag. I personally think he need's some valium and a rubber mallet to fix his issues. And our guideing light, our savior, the person that gives us the will to live, (ok 'nuff ass smooching) Pappy-R has done such an excellent job in this latest Big Fuzzy Focus. This time around he boasted over Afterwards and it looks like he was rather fond of it. And lastly from lil ol' me, this years (that's 2002 to us that are still drunk or hungover) Quake3World Map Database was revealed for all to see. Oh, least we forget the Q3: 2001 in Review from Alcatraz. Speaking of alca...I'd better leave before I get a little to punch drunk.

Coming Soon

...the lights dim down low and the narrorator starts off in a slow, quiet deep voice "When you're alone and all the lights are off and you start hearing strange and eerie sounds, do you start to think of The Dark Conjunction"? No, well then that means you need to get off your sorry buttocks and check out their latest ousting. They've went and done it up all nice like just for you to. They've fixed a lot and added even more. With a new Hulk Attack and even a story line to appease even the most skeptical.

Stump the Chump

Numero Uno Question is: "How many flying monkeys were there in the movie 'Wizard of Oz'?"

ConfusedUs from Wirehead:

One too many. Those things gave me nightmares. ack...seriously I had nightmares

IceStorm:

Those weren't real monkeys that were flying. And monkeys can't fly. So zero would be the correct answer you schmuck.

You too can submit a "Stump the Chump" question, just e-mail me!

IceStorm's Thought o' the Week

This is where my profound thought goes. I'm supposed to come up with something witty and or charming. If this was for Jube, then we'd be seeing more Barbie porn. Which is not all that bad by the way. Makes me almost scared to think she's capable of such things. Then there's the poor dolls themselves. Sheesh. At least Pappy's doll's are life size even if they do have to be blown up. Then there's madman. Talk about a twisted, mental patient reject, ajax sniffing, glue drinking, retard eating a bowl of hot wings kind of person. He's a really nice guy (I don't know where he lives yet so I have to play this one off really cool like). Yep, this is where my stuff would go should I have any. But since this is the new year, I'll be really nice and not tell any secrets. Not yet at least.
