PQ in Review
IceStorm recaps the week and all the goodies you may have missed! It's almost like having candy. - by IceStorm

PQ In Review: Ashes to ashes, dust to dust.

News

With summer headed my way, I feel the sun shining down on me. No more cold, except for the latest version outbreak from CPMA which includes Freeze Tag TDM. The finals are finished for the Get weird for wireless contest. There were some hilarious entries, but only three won. And I still say a FFA was a better idea to pic the winner! Jube would rue the day I stepped in the ring! But on another side of life, Devlin has released two new map packs over at Urban TerroristZ including maps like Chicago and Japan Garden2. Some new screenshots have been posted at Reaction Quake 3, ten shots in total plus more news then a monkey can read. A new version of the DM Tourney Generator has been released and now allows you to set up tourney brackets with ease. Coming soon to a ass kicking near you, TEC is preparing to be released in a few weeks. Get set, go! The crazy SOB's of a madman and raptorE jumped up and out to produce this weeks PlanetQuake Mailbag. If your'e into rust and cheese, this is your euphoria. Version 2.0 of the popular mod, King of the Mountain has been released to the public. And this [ten four] gold award goes to Kona's Nightmare Orchards. This is one sweet potato pie of a Q2 single player map. We need more of those! Lastly, Quint has released his follow up to the original map, Guns of Navarone, with his latest Q3 mapping creation entitled Back to Navarone. I've played this map and it's super fun. Not to large, but just right with all the tricks of the trade.

Coming Soon

Tech Enhanced Carnage. Sounds really kick ass doesn't it. Say it to yourself. Oh yes. This Quake 3 mod will soon be released to each and all for some really fast action and complete gibbage. You can drop over and see what I'm talking about from their screenshots page. Sweet corn with all the fixin's I'm tellin ya. The new TEC Team Elimination looks like more fun then a blast off the water pipe down at ol man Gilley's farm. So with this just around the corner, be on the look out for your own "hand me down ass whoopin'" from yours truly in a game of TEC.

IceStorm goes easy on you NO MORE!

This Week's Question is:

This week we have a treasure hunt of sorts. On this website you'll find the answer to the question. Your job is to find it. Ready? Ok, here we go. When did PlanetQuake.com first open to the public?

IceStorm:

E-mail me the correct answer and the winners names will be posted in next week's PQ in Review.

You too can submit a "Stump the Chump" question, just e-mail me!

IceStorm's Thought o' the Week

EVERYONE STOP! Stop what you're doing and scan your computers. This has gotten so bad I'm afraid to open up my email. More then 50% of my email contain viruses. That's sad peep's. Think about it. So please, PLEASE, for the love of all things sacred and for my mental state, please scan your hard drives. As I write this I'm getting a virus now. Ironic isn't it? lol Ok, last week I challenged anyone to some different mods that weren't popular, but people must be afraid of my Quake mad skillzzzxzzzssszzz(sp?) because none of you took me up on it. Lets see people, I'm old and feable like Pappy-R, I'm easy prey. So pick your mod, I pick the map and the place. We'll duel it out and the winner will get to brag for the entire week. So strap up and put on, lets go you scurvy dogs!
