PQ in Review
IceStorm recaps the week and all the goodies you may have missed! It's almost like having candy. - by IceStorm

PQ In Review: Man run once, get one set of chains.

News

What a week it has been. Most of the school's are out, and there's been some serious grudge matches going on as well. I, your host of PlanetQuake in Review, have even ref'd a few matches. But all's well that ends well. This past week, Jube herself got profiled by her famed QuakeScopes and Desktop readings. It's a hoot. Speaking of new, take a gander at the new design over at Dash Design. It's sleek and it's purdy. QBall has gotten back on track, and Railor went up a notch too. If you're in for a serious fun time, try Bouncy Q3A mod for Quake III. If you're nostalgic, then RetroQuake is the way to go. If you're feeling brave then try your luck at The Gaunlet in the second installment with F4nt0m45 and ConfusedUs. Funny guys, eh? Mapping...did you want mapping? Then the CMP1 is for you. Lots of level from the community to be had. Sooner or later it had to happen. The mixture of RPG and Quake III comes to you in Q3 Hydrostatic mode. And lastly if you're reading this, YOU MUST REGISTER FOR QuakeCon 2002. This is the biggest Quake event of the year. I'll be there sporting my PlanetQuake logo, will you??

Coming Soon

Tonight. Tonight is your night bro. Yes, very soon. The next version of Q3F is being released to the adoring public. Version 2.2 will entertain those that have come to know and love this game. Its made for the ages. With a release party at irc.quakenet.org #q3f tonight you know it's gonna be a blast into the past. Be there, update, then rock on. SNIPER!

Stump the Chump

Last Week's Question was:

I've been moving into a new house, thus no question last week. But the last time I asked about what Jube would have to do to secure a donation from you?

Few answered, but one was:

I'd give her a dollar to mow my lawn, two dollars if she edge'd the sidewalk too.

The Winners Were:

  • Sorry Jube, people just aren't that generous anymore. Maybe try doing some DM nude.

  • So no points. But...

    This Week's Question is:

    When does water become 'wet'?

    IceStorm:

E-mail me the correct answer and the winners names will be posted in next week's PQ in Review.

You too can submit a "Stump the Chump" question, just e-mail me!

    IceStorm's Tip o' the Week

Like I said, I have been moving. I still have boxes from hell in the garage. My advice to anyone and everyone. If you still live at home, don't move out. Let the 'rents pay for everything. Live on their dime. It's a lot less expensive, but it can cripple your love life. Either way, moving sucks. Summer is here, let the rejoicing begin. Up top I mentioned some grudge matches. I hereby challenge JUBE to a match. Any mod, any server. Her choice. I willing oblidge to let her take a crack at yours truly. Prepare to frag!(note to self: if you lose you'll never live this down, dont screw it up.)
