Leave it up to Tiki and his Tiki Domain to open up the week with some good updates on his pad. And speaking of pad, the World of Padman posted up some new screenshots showing off some of their goods. Is it me, or does anyone else dig their stuff? Like shots, then make sure you've passed by the Weapons Factory Arena to preview their wall paper a day until the release which was yesterday. Don't be a homer! And also bringing in their own shots over at Western Quake 3 with pics and news bits. Or check out the groovy frames posted at Matrix Q3 with their own version. Oh yeah, also make sure you've updated your copy of Ultra Freeze for a lock up fix.
A new site on the net, entitled Lady Gamers, posted up an interview with our very own Pappy-R. Where's my interview? Ah well, who wants to talk to an old washed up gamer with an attitude anyways? Since I don't have an ETA for my turn, you should at least turn some attention to Navy Seals: Covert Operations for more news, eye candy, and info on the NS:CO Stats. Earlier I mentioned being a homer and how to not be one. Here's help, go download the stand alone version of D-Day: Normandy and rock. It's a blast now that you don't need any other software to play. And lastly the Quake II Evolved will be released within the week and it's full of action and good times. Just like that neighborhood girl down the street!
As I write this, I am downloading the lastest version (that would be version 3.5 to those counting) of Weapons Factory Arena. This new version promises many new features and should be a great addition to the WF family. While this mod is really tough to learn it is surely one of the best out there that takes time and patience. So if you're a rookie, prepare for a steep learning curve. You can get all of the download links on the Weapons Factory Arena main site. See you on a server soon.
Stump the Chump
Last Week's Question was:
What is the best thing about playing IceStorm in a tourney?
The Answer Is:
"You get to watch someone who perfectioned the art of self-fragging."
The Winners Were:
- Jens Rösner
- f4nt0m45 (Ok ok, I did deserve that.)
This Week's Question is:
Can you throw a ball with all your might and, without hitting a wall or other obstruction, have it stop and come right back to you? Why/How?
E-mail IceStorm the correct answer and your name will be posted in next week's PQ in Review. If you're smart enough!
You too can submit a "Stump the Chump" question, just e-mail me!
IceStorm's Tip o' the Week
I hope everyone is getting into the holiday spirit. I'm trying, but not having much luck yet. Oh well, maybe soon enough I will. There is no snow where I live so it kind of sucks. But at least it's not freezing either. And this year boys and girls, there will be no throwing of rocks at Santa. But the elves are free game!
