Ugh...thats all I can say right now. Don't ask. Lets just say that they had free beer and leave it at that. This past few days I've been able to stop by QuakeCon 2003 and check things out. I got to see the Punk Buster boys around from time to time wearing their preppie shirts. It was cool too cause Casey and Scancode from Threewave were there again still looking the same as they did last year. Cool dudes though. A new version of Defrag came out and is available for download this week. And over at Military Forces Q3 a new model of the A-10 Thunderbolt II (aka Warthog) gets its debut. During the mid week Wirehead Studios released a new version of GenArena, version .99c, that contains some nice updates with it. And lastly this week, outside of the Quakecon goings, a brand new version of Quake 3 Menu with a ton o' features is out. Its handy, its dandy.
Anyone that made it to QuakeCon most likely played the multiplayer version of Doom 3. Let me just say that the graphics are pretty, the game is faster then hell, and its really fun too. However the gameplay is exactly the same style as all the other Quakes. Which is not a bad thing, just get ready for something new and something the same. On the flip side the single player side of it will be so awesome. Make sure you start upgrading your computers today! Its gonna be a blast.

IceStorm's Tip o' the Week
Sorry that its been some time now since I've managed to get up and back into the saddle again. My leg is still broken, but now I have a nice large stainless steel metal plate in my leg. All held together with 7 nice 1' screws into my bone. Yes, it's fun. But wait there's more! I also have a 2" screw into the ball of my ankle. Ah yes, we're having fun now. It's getting better, just its sore is all. That'll teach me. Anyways, I spent some time this week downtown Dallas with Jube, a madman, and Dire Hampster at Quakecon. It was fun, but not as fun as last year. I hope they move it back to Mesquite next year. It just seemed to uptight this year. Later this week I'll have a break down of my visage and opinions. Yes, I'm quite opinionated. Just ask any of my victims...er I mean friends. Pappy-R, wish you could of made it. But I did give Jube a present to bring to you. Take care, stay strong. Ciao you rabbits!
